3D printing - Where do I start?
I've made a part to be 3D printed, however I don't know if I need to change the infil now (in the design studio in onshape) or later. once that's done then what file type do i export it as (I'm using a Creality ender 3 pro 3D printer)
Any kind of help would be much appreciated.

Export to STL and set the infill with your slicer software.. youtube can help you sort out slicer settings

Most start with Cura it seems. I'm moving to Bambu Studio

The infill is usually added in the slicer. I have Prusa printers and use Prusa Slicer. The Prusa Help site has tons of info on slicing, settings, etc.

Where do you need infil, rotate the part 180 degrees and you don't need infill.

You are thinking 3D-print supports, I suspect. Infill is the percent of an enclosed part that is filled "in" with filament. 100% infill on a sphere would be 100% (solid) filament inside the sphere, for example. Infill can be specified in a wide variety of geometric forms.
