imported a file

i imported my file and nothing will let me fill or add extrude etc. i have been trying to figure out why i cant fix it so i can fill in fo i can print it what am i doing wrong.????

    Robert, do you mean that you imported a file into your document? If so, what type of file did you import? - Scotty

    It depends on what kind of file you imported. I'm just now figuring out how to import the files correctly so they don't turn into mixed models (which is likely what happened to you).

    I've found that imported .dxf files can be challenging to close and constrain. Zoom way in on the mating points and make sure they're actually mated.
