is it possible to extrude a flat rectangle uniformly below a beam that has faces that vary. Think of the side of a flat car. The side beam is a standard height over most of its length. At either end the height changes at an angle down to a lower height. Across the bottom over the entire uneven portion of the beam is a support plate that is a different width than the side beam. The horizontal plate is offset a narrow distance on the outside of the beam and a wider distance on the inside of the beam. Thanks for any help that you can share. Sincerely, Kennedy

Hello. Can't grasp that. Have a sketch of some sort? - Scotty
It's hard to visualize what you are describing. But maybe one of the Extrude "up to" options will help you?
