Is there a way to search all tabs ( documents) in std?

I commonly find that i am looking for a function declaration in the std document. Is there a way to search over all part studios in a single document?

Absolutely.
When you're in a Feature Studio, hit the search icon in the toolbar:
Alternatively, hitctrl-shift-Fon Linux/PC, orcmd-shift-Fon a Mac.
This will bring up a panel where you can search globally through all the Feature Studios the document, optionally filtering by module name.5
