Inserted part vanishes

A strange thing is happening. I made a part model of a coiled tube using helix in a part studio but, when I try to insert this part into an assembly, I see the yellow outline until I click then the part vanishes. The part is listed as an instance in the assembly but I can't make it visible. Probably something I'm doing wrong.

OK, Solved. My forehead is getting sore from slapping.
Of course, I was using the cutaway section view feature and inserted a part on the wrong side of the cut plane..... Aggah!5 -
Don't feel too bad - I have also done that!
Section view is so helpful, I sometimes forget that it's on!
