Failed to Resolve Instance when loading assembly - how do I remove this?

I've got some parts I deleted, and now they show up red as unresolved in my Assembly.  This makes sense... except how do I remove them from the list on the left panel?

Suppress or Hide are options, but that ain't it... I want to Delete!  Part not needed.

    RESOLVED.  This was a simple matter of me discovering nuances of the UI.  No big.  I needed to escape out of edit mode on a sketch before I could see other menu options on the part.
