extrusion has no edges?

when i try to extrude the tip of this sword: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/7599bb12e0008b97dce78153/w/3402e358ccbb02ae9f9d597c/e/b3523428a57fa18411164ce1 the extrusion does no regenerate and it has no sides. when you zoom in the grey that shows if you have a closed shape overlaps the outline as well. any help appreciated.
