Is there a way to assign a different color to a face on a part?

terry_piketerry_pike Member Posts: 14
It appears that with a part, I have to create a new part to assign a different color to it. Coming from Inventor, you can assign a different color(s) to a face(s) within the same part. Is there a way inside Onshape to accomplish the same thing? Thank you!

    Thanks Neil! So, this suggestion has already been made and if so, I need to do a search on it :smile: Thanks!

    @terry_pike

    One workaround is to offset the face a small amount and change color of offset surface.

    The improvement request to vote on is here 'Coloring faces'.
