Extruding Text from a sketch to be sent to Laser cut

Hello everyone,

I recently used the text function in a sketch for an Extrude-Cut and when I sent it to the engraving/laser shop, they responded that the text in the DXF was comprised of many small lines versus smooth curves. Obviously this is not preferred. Neither is drawing the letters individually and going about it in that manner. Im looking for a way to smooth these out and to possibly keep the bubbles inside the letters when I export. i.e. the inner two sections of a "B"

Is there a good workaround or possibly a featurescript that would create text that is exported as curves versus segmented lines?
Can I get some tips and tricks regarding what the shop prefers or doesn't prefer when engraving or lasering text?
