How can I import a Solidworks drawing template?

I have a saved Solidworks drawing template (.dwgdot file). How can I import this into Onshape and save for future use?

I think you mean .DRWDOT. One way I can think of is saving it as DWG from SW and then import into your document in Onshape. You can then export it as DWT to be used as template. See "Exporting a drawing to a template" in help - https://cad.onshape.com/help/#templates-custom.htm?Highlight=upload.
