Printing large drawings

I know I could buy a roll printer but I expect people on this forum will have a better idea.
So, how do you get drawings printed? Printing services? Which ones? What file formats do you send them?

Personnaly I prefer "B" format since you can handle it almost anywhere! If someone can only print it in letter size, it is readable anyway.

matthias wandel on youtube uses a program to print 1:1 drawings on a regular printer just in many sheets that you then cut and tape together.0
