Move to New Assembly

Pattern can't be move to new assembly

    That is typical. Patterns are generally simple to re-make.
    Parts that are in the pattern may or may not be in the new assembly, so it is usually left up to the user to manage patterns manually.

    In solidworks showing the same behavior even with no other part references, it will just attempt to delete the pattern. Making you cancel, write down/memorize your pattern parameters, remove your instances from the pattern, then move your part.

    At least with Onshape you can still go and check what your original pattern was after the fact, before deleting it. Making the process much less stressful
