3D Connexion mouse not working

I've got a new machine, and so far have not been able to get the 3D Connexion Spacemouse wireless to work in Firefox other than zoom in Onshape. In Chrome, it initially worked with full control, but now is only doing zoom also. I've verified with the viewer that 3D Connexion supplies that it's working properly in that. And…

Yesterday I updated my iMac27" and MacBookPro15" to MacOS 10.13.6 and 10.14.6 respectively and again tried the newest 3DConnexion drivers. The SpaceNavigator NB didn't work with Onshape on either machine on Safari or Chrome. I installed 3DxWare 10: version 10.5.3 on both, and they both work perfectly in Onshape on both browsers.
