How to make a hole normal to a revolved surface

How can a remove-extrude be set up to extrude normal to a surface created by a revolved profile? In this piece all the holes are normal to the top plane, but I'd like some of them normal to the inverted cone surface created by the revolve. I don't see how to draw a circle on that surface.

It would be nice to have the ‘inferred Mate connectors as points’ for the Hole tool on mobile

Making a plane at the end of a short line added to the profile worked for me using curve-point as the webinar (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCGFUCBDu7w) at 27:45 shows. Thanks for the idea.
Steve: I was able to make some planes but couldn't get one to look like yours ( I got just about every other angle, though!). I am missing something, but for now I can go on with the project.
