Drive UI focus with other UI parameters?

Evan_ReeseEvan_Reese Member Posts: 2,066 PRO
I'm trying to improve the usability of the Selection Fillet feature I just released. Rather than a wall of text explaining it, I made a 40-second video showing what I'm looking for.

For the click-averse reader, the short version is I'd like the UI to focus on the "faces" query box, when I pick the "faces" enum. As of now, it stays in whatever query param is already active, which will also now be hidden in the UI.

I'm tempted to say this is simply a bug. Outside array parameters, we try to make sure another QLV goes into focus whenever one disappears (simply focusing on the next one visible if it exists) for exactly the usability reasons you're showing. Inside array parameters, seems like this is not holding!

You can play around with the transform feature to see what I mean outside array parameters. Would fixing that address this issue?

In my particular case, I think it would, but even Transform has some UI that I find a bit confusing. Another 40-second video of that.
