Having trouble mating Cylinders to extruded holes in side of another cylinder

Hello. Im new to onshape and im having issues with mate function.
I revolved to make 3 cylinder's.
Then i made a plane on surface of and extruded to make 2 holes in my master part.
Now i need to mate (and mabe flip) the 2 parts to face of master part..
Very frustrated.

Make all three parts with a single sketch and three revolves in the same Part Studio, then Boolean subtract the smaller cylinders to make the holes in the big one. When you inster them all into an assembly, use a group mate. It's easier to define the relationship among parts in sketches rather than mating them in assemblies.0 -

It seems like a couple of simple fasten mates should do the trick. Have you tried that, are you getting an error or what?
Drawing the parts in one part studio "in place" and grouping them is an option but not necessary (especially if you already have your parts)...0 -
Yeah I sketched all my measurements divided by 2 then excluded the middle and extruded around the center axis to make my cylinders. I have no white dots to mate to and just selecting the bottom of my parts is not possible. Should I merge all 3 parts to them self before i try to mate?. Is that what I'm missing ?0

I'm a bit puzzled... If your parts have cylindrical faces, they will have implicit mate connector references at each end and at the midpoint so I really don't understand why these would be "missing"... You could always add explicit mate connectors in your parts (see https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/mateconnector_a.htm?Highlight=mate connector) to make things easier (although that really shouldn't be necessary).

These are not the kind of mates i need. Nothing goes into the Holes. This assembly has these parts attach to the face of the main cylinder above the or on the holes in the face of that main cylinder. I'm not understanding what you are trying to do. Would you please make a hand sketch of where you want the parts mated to? Or, drag and rotate the parts in the assembly about how you would like them mated, and take a screenshot of that to post here?bill_b695 said:These are not the kind of mates i need.
