Years ago I came across a public featurescript which lets me take to moving or rotating parts, and "cut" the second to conform to the first. I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know what it's called?

Body sweep by @Konst_Sh does something similar.
If you sweep along a circular path, it achieves similar results to a revolve.

Hmmm....this was different - it let me like take 2 rotating bodies, and have one cut into another. Another examples was an oddly-shaped ball which cut into a "track", to give a weirdly-grooved, but working train-track that was perfect for the odd wheel shape0

Maybe you meant Syncro rotator:There is also Envelope FS, but making the setup is not that easy: https://forum.onshape.com/discussion/comment/72115/#Comment_72115
