hello, i just discover that onshape intégre simulation in assembly since décembre 2022. Did this option will be integreted in the onshape education account ? Thanks a lot

How long is simulation supposed to take??
Trying simulation for the first time this evening, on what i would assume is very basic FEA. 4 Beams Supporting 2 planks, with a load on each plank, (think footbridge) 15min in and its not even 1/4 of the way complete. the tutorials make it seem way faster than this. Am I messing something up?

Simulation scope—compare simulation with/without a part included
I'm trying out Simulations, and I'm wondering if there's a way to limit the scope of what parts/assemblies are included in a simulation. Basically, I want to simulate the deflection of a cantilevered beam by itself, and compare that to a simulation of the same beam with a stiffener plate bolted to it. I've created a second…

Material library for simulation
Hi, To use the simulation functionality it is of course important to have the correct material properties. We can see that it is possible to add this manually now (previously it was only category, name and density that were supported) but is there any pre-defined material library that can be used or must all this…

Vertex/edge/face IDs
I export part geometries (as STEP files) for use in 3D multibody simulations. I often add new connections to parts before simulation---to apply forces, add pulley or gear constraints, maybe sense motion---and these are ultimately based on the IDs of vertices, edges, or faces that I select from the STEP file geometries I…
