I think I found an slight issue with the graphic control change. Setting the line width to minimum makes it difficult to select edges at times. Turning it up to max and not spinning the model allows … (View Post)1 -

Alternatively…. no sketch needed and still 2 features. just extrude the face as is… and then use delete face to delete the holes. bonus tip. use select hole faces when selecting the holes (View Post)1
