@christopher_luckenbill Your welcome. Pro tip for you (I stole it from a pro). if you extrude the shape of the dovetail as a "thin" and then boolean subtract it from the part you get 2 part… (View Post)2 -

draw a sketch in the shape of your dovetail. Extrude it as a surface through your part and use it to split it in two. (View Post)1 -

It's also slightly inconsistent with symmetrical extrudes which use the total dimension for the overall and doesn't add it to both sides of the sketch. (View Post)1
