I am a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for creative design.
I have 6 years work experience as a designer and currently work full time as a Mechanical Engineer for an engineering firm in Cache Valley Utah where we mainly do work in the amusement ride industry. I also running my own design consulting business, Corvus Engineering Innovations. I also am an experienced metalworker including welding and machining. I have a background in art and sculpture and try to apply artistic principles into my designs. I aspire to be my own boss and work hard building my personal resume through freelancing.
As a designer I excel in all aspects of 3D modeling including: Advanced Surfacing, Fiberglass and Injection Molded Plastic Design, Sheetmetal and Weldment Design.
As an engineer I have expertise in: Strength Analysis for both Machined Parts and Weldments, Finite Element Analysis, Bearing and Shaft Analysis, and Electro-Mechanical Interfacing.
My skills include: SolidWorks, Onshape, Inventor, SolidEdge, PowerSurfacing, ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, Matlab/Scilab, and Mathcad
I make it high priority to have regular communication with my clients. I try to be realistic with my timelines and in bidding projects.
When I commit to a project I make sure it is completed on time. I will not finish an assignment until the client is 100% satisfied. I take great pride in my work and hold myself to the highest standard of quality.
