Re: Moving a drawing sheet
Drawings as s Single Sheet or Multiple sheets might seem trivial but is a big question I have asked myself and on different Onshape projects, at the moment you can't change your mind 1/2 way down the track so is important to get it right up front. I have chosen both ways on depending on the project. It is, however, an issue at the moment that singles can't be merged to a multiple page drawing or vice-versa down the track you want to change the setup. @MichaelThiesmeyer I'll vote for that IR.
Why is this an issue?
For me, a multiple page drawing becomes more compact in the Onshape doc (minor thing but 100 tabs are hard to handle) and is easy to print/export, I really like structuring my drawings this way, I can have 100 pages in the drawing, RMB on the tab to export and I have them all in 1 PDF in a few seconds. However, I normally do single sheet drawings based on the part number because if you want to add links to specific drawings from elsewhere that seems to make more sense.
@PeteYodisI am really looking forward to more ways to copy, move and edit my drawings, the more time I can save the better. I also too, regularly want to move an already detailed view to a new sheet.

Re: loft issue with 3d spline

See above
The white dot versus the black dot:
White dot is a sketched "Point"
while the black dots are "End points" or "Center points" of other sketch geometry. In this case, the black dot was the center point of the ellipse, and the white dot was a sketched point that was placed on top of the circle's center point. (I just deleted this point by window selecting and deleting in sketch 16, as it was not being used)
You had a Plane 13 defined as an offset from the front plane.
This will not be as accurate as Plane-Point. because of tolerances.
once you fix that,
then make sure you are following the "path" instead of "guides and continuity"
also add some section counts to help smooth out the loft

Re: Configure Part Name Feature?
I actually worked on one for that too. It's here. To give credit where it's due, I started by copying one by @NeilCooke
(yet again) and modifying it only a tiny bit. Check his out here. I'd eventually like to find a way to toggle each field between a string or an equation, but for now, the prefix and suffix are strings and the segments are type "Any" meaning they can do calculations. It can also assign the part number if that's useful.

Re: Help Configuring Faces
No, you are doing it right. Properties are config-specific so you do have to align all the stars. A wilcard option would be good.
@Evan_Reese 's FS could be easily extended to allow face colors.

Re: Improvements to Onshape - June 3rd, 2020
I'm excited about the hole charts feature, as I hope it's a prequel to making the hole feature useable for the machine tool industry.
The hole feature NEEDS to include standard machinist hand book thread tables, NPT, NPS, BSP, BSS, threads etc. In addition, Drill-Tip angle options are badly needed to complete Onshape's usability in machine tool manufacturing industry.
This level of detail is a standard, NEEDED basic feature that has LONG been awaited in Onshape.

I actually made that update a few days ago. It works with faces now.NeilCooke said:No, you are doing it right. Properties are config-specific so you do have to align all the stars. A wilcard option would be good.

Re: This isn't letting me fillet this .5 inches
Hi Carlos. Welcome to the forum. First, check the Forum Post Checklist for how to maximize your chances of answering your question. Second, I can't be sure what I'm looking at without a link to your model, but in this case I think the fillet is likely geometrically impossible, and that's why you're getting an error. The first picture works because you're filleting 2 simple 90deg corners. The second picture includes some sharp edges and a small radius. You can't add a radius any larger than the one that is already there. Hope that helps.

Re: Spline constraints
Hi @Edward_12
In a sketch, you can constrain a spline handle using dimensions or constraints (between the endpoint of the spline and the endpoint of the handle).

There are no handles on spline points at this time (please raise an improvement request). Mathematically a spline with handles on inner points is actually two splines end to end, so you can do the same thing in Onshape, it's just not as quick.

Hope that helps.

Re: Excel spreadsheet
No, there is no way to connect a spreadsheet to a drawing.
Link tab just lets you keep your google doc in an Onshape tab so it is easy to find/edit.
You will need to copy the information out of the spreadsheet and paste into a table in drawings.
