Distorted, exaggerate perspective view is a deal breaker!
As an Industrial Designer I have to make al lot of design on surface quality and appearance.
Due to the exaggerate perspective view of Onshape it's really hard to do.
I usually do export my files and check them in Rhino. That workaround cost so much time that I am seriuosly considering to go back to Solid Works.
There are post addressing this issue from 2015.
That's not rocket science.
Why has't it been addressed in such a log time?
Re: Draft up to face or vertex?
You can create a Ruled surface tapered from the edge of the cylinder and Replace face the flat surface with that. That would give you angular control of the surface. If you need the surface to taper from that edge and intersect the boss apex at its original position, a revolved surface might be better.

Re: Split fails and I don't see why
thanks a lot
to summarize my loft is badly formed. I will take care of that better using your inputs.
Re: How can I display a grid when I am drawing an sketch?
If the goal is to "precisely align" things, a grid is not how this is done in parametric CAD!
There are various ways to do this using a layout sketch, relations and/or mate connectors etc… that are going to be more precise than a grid. So definitely not a "legitimate" reason to want a grid on sketches…
Hide Blue sketch rectangle feature
Hello,
I just wander why is there that blue rectangle with sketch name? it always somehow interference with actual sketch, is it somehow important? Maybe If I am not looking from "normal to plane" view to understand perspective. But most time it is very distracting. I tried to find any way to hide it, but I can't find any. So I would like sugest this as a feature. There could be another check box with "show sketch plane" or something like that:)
Thanks a lot ♥️

Re: How can I include a variable value in a sketch text?
This is possible now!

Re: How can I display a grid when I am drawing an sketch?
I'll take the red tent. haven't used a grid since Autocad 9 probably and that was only for training.
