Re: hot to change alot of part colors in onshape?
I'm not sure how to drive a feature dropdown (enum) with variables. I'd just use the built in color picker to find the hex value you want then copy/paste.
Re: Move letter from text
Then extrude separately and move the bodies so they overlap, "transform by mate connector" might be a good option to control things precisely.
Wildcard to exclude in advanced search?
I'd like to search my companies enterprise for all feature scripts our users have created but I want to exclude all "Feature Studio 1" or likely empty studios from the search. I can use a wildcard (*) in the search bar and any advanced search field to surround a segment of a string that narrows the search, but I'm looking to do the opposite. I can see this being helpful in other searches as well.
Re: Untrim?
So I decided to take some time and change the approach.
I've used a lot of the code from @NeilCooke 's mold & die custom features so Kudos to Neil!
this approach allows using the original surface and also allows control over what loops to close/not.
Moreover it integrates the Extract functionality without approximating.
for pure B-splines it would be nice to be able to expand outer edges to the original U/V data, but i can't figure out how to do so yet. for now this should do. I guess in that sense it may not perform as your original post expressed @S1mon: leaving the surface as clean as it was. but for generic work, it may suffice and be easier than manually moving boundary edges
looking forward to your feedback!
Re: Issue with Loft
That's a lotta guides!! 1st question would be. do you really need that much control on the surface? I would strongly suggest reversing your approach and make your guides your profiles and your profiles your guides. In either case…post your document link so that others and myself can take a look to see where the issue is.

Re: Provide gap between two parts
Make the bowl bigger. In this case, #Diameter = (132 mm + 0.1 mm) + (2*0.1in).
Also, consider taking this course to learn about multi-part part studios.
Re: Making complex cylindrical shapes
It's not that deep man, I just asked if I'm doing it wrong because it feels wrong.
Re: hot to change alot of part colors in onshape?
After the fact, probably not, but you could use my Part Color custom feature in conjunction with a Variable Studio to set it up so that it's easy to change next time someone has a mercurial whim. Here's an example. These are different parts from 2 different part studios updating the hex code from the variable studio.
Re: how do I find someone to create drawings of assemblies for laser cutting and shop fabrication?
Is this temporary, part-time, or do you need an all-out, full-time cad jockey? More details might be helpful.
