Re: How to report broken community featurescripts?
Fantastic trick, and I upvoted the feature request.
Re: Force a workspace to update Library Version?
Yes. I also work with several customers on Onshape data that they own. My team doesn't always have the authority to trash/restore our customer's data to trigger workspace updates. In cases like this it becomes even more convoluted. This happened to me two weeks ago and due to the issues with others accessing, etc. we basically lost a full day working in that document and had to delay an important prototyping milestone.
Re: Force a workspace to update Library Version?
Is this still true for documents with Branches? We're having challenges merging branches. With many people on a team, it's hard to keep people out of a document for a scheduled update that never seems to happen when it says it will, and Trash/Restore didn't seem to do the trick for branches.

Re: Problem importing dxf file
This is how I would do it. Not sure if that's what your going for. Kudos to the onshape team for constrained surface. Makes it easy peasy. Before the update that included that tool. It would of been mildly painful.

Re: Autodesk to acquire PTC
There is nothing in the SEC doc that mentions anything about PTC. Autodesk didn't confirm or deny anything and it certainly lets the door open. The analyst is making the determination based on his interpretation that there is no interest. FWIW wall street is full of people with their hands in others peoples pockets. Analysts are often "compensated" for stuff they write,,, so you can't take a lot of it for face value.

Re: Loft to get a cylinder with hole (a hose)
Siometimes, it helps to just eliminate the loops. e.g. by using half-circles, if the design is symmetrical to at least one plane:
Re: Improvements to Onshape - June 27th, 2025
All, just a quick note to say:
Thank you for the feedback on the new document page redesign. We are continuing to work on improving what was a large change that lays the groundwork for more functionality and better performance in the documents page, some of which you have already seen (default column sorting, column resizing, pinning/add/removing columns, filtering, etc.).
As a side note: the documents page has to serve the needs of students with a handful of documents all the way to our Enterprise users who have large folder / projects / document / product structure hierarchies as well as external users. Some of issues brought up could be considered edge cases, but we're taking all those into account as we work on improvements regardless.
