Re: Improvements to Onshape - December 13th, 2024
Nice Updates on Render Studio! We were waiting on this since a while now. Well done!
I still wonder why all Render Studios are deleted end of february. Will it make sense to create a custom library before march? I bet they will be deleted, too. Right?

Very happy with the directional end conditions! that'll save a lot of work-around extruded faces.
Re: Trying to emulate an organic shaped Harley Davidson rockerbox for 3d printing
Thanks @MDesign , Yes curves and projection of them is a frustrating business when attempted without learning first. I am sure surfaces are even worse. But, like all these things, we learn when you need to and after that it is something wonderful 😀
Xmas is coming, I will have time to spend on this.

Kees
Re: Sweep/revolve should auto-resolve intersections
This is a basic practice that should be allowed. It works with circles that should intersect in the same way as other shapes such a the one shown. Please add this feature soon.
Re: Sweep/revolve should auto-resolve intersections
Can you add this as a feature request? I want this too
Re: fs.place - a marketplace for FeatureScript
@kenn_sebesta167
fs.place is still in its early stages/open beta. We have plans to add profiles at some point, so that users can provide contact information.
In all of my features, I have documentation, which includes a link to my website/contact info. Any issues, you can send me an email.
I include the source code in many features because I want people to remix, modify, learn, and make it useful for their needs. Its hard to make a feature that works for everyone. But the feedback does also help decide how to improve them.
The percentage paid out to feature authors is in the TOS.
Of the list price, the seller gets 70%, we take 30%. Free features don't cost anything for the author.
The transfer fees for paying out that amount are unknown, because we are relying on transferwise to pay sellers - which does not have a fees list. If you want an estimate of the transfer fees, punch the amount and your local currency into transferwise and it should give you an idea. For example, right now, 100 USD payout would be 93.73 euro - which is about 1.75% in transfer fees. Let me know if that is clear.
Re: LIBRARY MISMATCH
Where are you copying from? It is likely the source doc is old or untouched for a while. Trash it and restore it to force an upgrade.
Re: Center point circle won't define
PLus you can dimension direct to the origin (or the centre of the first circle), you don't really need the planes.
Re: Center point circle won't define
Default planes are hidden, click the eye to show or press 'p' repeatedly until they all show.
