Updated Custom Feature: Bounding Cylinder (now published)
I finally fixed some tricky bugs in this and it seemed ready to release. I usually use it to simplify motor packaging in robots.
New Custom Feature: Integer Belt (published)
Calculates the actual c-c distance and integer-tooth belt/chain size needed for two given pulleys.
Produces a sketch, and a named 2D curve.
Re: DXF / DWG EXPORT UNITS
I have had to re-export four complete jobs since this change. It has cost me many hours of work.
Re: Improvements to Onshape - August 7th, 2025
Thanks for the Units update. Now can you make it so that if i need to change a document from Imperial to Metric units, there is a "one click" option to do so? Changing from ANSI to ISO or just Imperial to Metric so that all types are changed together is helpful rather than having to change each one individually.
Re: Saving an OnShape file for sharing
This is what you want.

Re: Parametric Offset in a Sketch
That's weird. I'm not sure why that is, but a workaround is to create the extrudes as new parts, and boolean them away after the pattern. Use the Auto Boolean feature from @GregBrown to make the selection always get all instances.

Re: How to save an animation?
Re: Can we please sort by Copies and Links when searching for Featurescripts? Please?
I can almost never find a FS when I want it, even when I have a close idea of what it was called. I end up doing a search in the forum for something I remember reading about, and find the original author and link that way.
Re: Saving an OnShape file for sharing
STL is a waste of disk space. Don't share that format. Share STEP format instead if you want an actual file to share.
Otherwise, sharing a link is definitely the OS way.
