@aidan_fraser the reason we don't do it is because Parasolid does not allow it. Thanks for the improvement request. This is the first time anyone has asked for this capability, so until it has been reviewed and implemented it might be quicker to create a custom feature if you need this every day.

I second this for internal threads. I added a ?12x1.25 hole and mistakenly assumed the thread lab tool would use the data and put the threads in correctly. To my surprise when the client asked to change the hole to m12x1.25. I had to do a double take and find the issue. To which thread lab ad did material making it basically m10

Not sure which YouTube video your watching, but without following Onshape's free courses or Learning Pathways with those courses, it will be difficult for you to know how Onshape works and how to understand and use it efficiently. Onshape made them to speed up your modeling not to slow you down =)
