Onshape Government!
Hello Onshape Community,
Big news! PTC will soon offer Onshape Government, a new version of our cloud-native CAD and PDM software, purpose-built for organizations and entities requiring elevated levels of security and U.S. regulatory compliance due to the sensitive nature of their work. Onshape Government enables companies to meet ITAR/EAR requirements while experiencing all the proven benefits of Onshape’s cloud-native workflows. It provides real-time collaboration, has built-in PDM with branching and merging, and eliminates CAD crashes—ensuring you never lose work. What’s more, Onshape Government simplifies compliance by handling all IT overhead associated with creating, managing, and maintaining secure design data.

STEP import missing colors (has the .STEP file import process been changed?)
Re: 3D Drawings (MBD )
In my world, MBD would replace drawings in a heartbeat. Actually I was hoping to see MBD before drawings, but I knew there are many who need the actual print. Hopefully there are enough users to claim MBD so we could see a stab at it rather sooner than later.
I'm sure we get it at some point and properly done with Onshape style - we can expect something awesome
