Re: How do I change configuration value type from "Integer" to "Real"?
.
The best way will be to delete that configured variable and create another one with the same name.
This doesn't sound amazing, but it is very quick and gets the job done.

Re: How do I change configuration value type from "Integer" to "Real"?
Delete and recreate the configuration input variable. If the variable name is the same, references and uses won't be broken (note that this is not true for list configuration inputs).
Re: How can I generate a line in 3D space and extrude a circle along it using the Onshape REST API?
We have an example here : https://onshape-public.github.io/docs/api-adv/featureaccess/#create-a-cylinder .
.STEP A214 and A242 Not exporting face appearances correctly
this now means going back and obsoleting the revision, creating a new drawing sheet and displaying the face appearances for each part in each area and exporting the 3D in A213 as A214 does not seem to be working correctly.
Re: How do I apply a feature to an entire part?
Create the first vertical strip but leave it as a separate part (i.e. pick "new" instead of "add" in the extrude), then do the pattern of groove in that on strip and then linear pattern the strips (with the "add" option). Also draw half the part and mirror it at the end (or don't add the 3 strips and mirror them).
Re: Add to already established pattern?
Short answer: no…
Very slightly longer answer: use a feature patterns instead.
