Re: we need the CAM studio
I see this is an old discussion, but for anyone who still is looking for CAM they can use easily with Onshape, my school has been using Kiri:Moto from the App Store. It works quite well, still receives occasional updates, and is currently free!

Drag and drop to import files is a really nice improvement.
Not way fewer clicks, but it feels so natural!
