Re: New Feature: Attractor Pattern
Just a nice hack for making the Attractor Pattern FS work with complex surface-patches: use the "shrik wrap" FS (10$) by @Caden_Armstrong :
- Wrap your Part (for my Examples, i used 200x200 points…)
- Trim the Wrap Surface to your needs
- Use the Wrap Surface as "input body"
- "Add" the Result to your Part (if needed)
The Wrap-Surface and the Attractor Pattern rely still on UV's… so no all shapes work well…
Re: View Support Tickets for Company
So, through a support ticket I was able to get it enabled. I do not see previous company tickets, but I believe I should going forward. Thanks, and thanks @lougallo
Re: Mate Connectors vs Planes - Why oh Why??
Maybe planes and MC should be unified, and them appearing as a plane might then just be a visualsation toggle? Somtimes planes just clutter the space and I would love if I could just 'minimize' them into MCs.
That would then open up some more opportunities. If an MC could be visualized and used on demand as a plane in all situations, it could maybe also appear as an axis or other kind of basic structure in a design if need arises.
Re: Mate Connectors vs Planes - Why oh Why??
Perhaps the solution could be planes become mate connectors in all but name. A toggle or user select option can display the xy plane which the MC defines and/ or the mc?

@jayce_fry power of mirror w/ constraints

Re: Mate Connectors vs Planes - Why oh Why??
I also have Center Mate, one of my first FS. I need to maybe work on it a bit more, but it can be very useful for doing a "Between" Mate among multiple entities.
