Opening Inventor Part Files

I am having trouble viewing *.ipt files. According to the help information, Inventor files should be supported. When I open the file however, I see the normal CAD window but without anything in it (i.e. just the origin marker is present). Is there something I need to do in order to view these files?

@marc_powell Are you importing them from the Documents page or from within a document? Are they surfaces or solids in Inventor? Can you send in a support ticket so we can take a look? Use the ? menu -> Feedback.Lou Gallo / PD/UX - Support - Community / Onshape, Inc.5
