I cannot select a face to revolve in SOLID but it works in SURFACE, what am i missing?

Is the inside area of your sketch shaded? If it is not, then your sketch profile has a gap in it somewhere. For a solid to work, your sketch must have a completely enclosed (shaded) area to work with. Surfaces can work with individual entities because they are infinitely thin.Senior Director, Technical Services, EMEAI6
