Need help troubleshooting png insertion

I have imported a png file, and the preview of it looks correct, but when it try to insert it via "insert image" it just shows up as a gray square. Any suggestions?

No sir. Performance isn't too shabby, and everything else is working fine. Thank you for the link though

I think I found the problem, at least on my hardware. I tried several different png files and they all worked just fine. I'm not sure why that particular file worked for @owen_sparks and not for me, but it probably has something to do with the combination of Arch Linux and Firefox. The png that was giving me problems was also converted from a pdf.
Who knows. I'm calling this one a fluke. Everything I have tried that wasn't a pdf conversion is fine.
