Hidden Mid Section Spring Cylinder showing up on assembly drawing

This design has a linked spring in it. I have "hidden" the 3 cylinders used to create the upper, lower and mid sections of the spring, so that they are not visible. Problem is that the mid section cylinder shows up on the assembly drawing regardless. I have tried to use various "Display States" as described in the help, but it makes no difference.

I first tried "Delete Part" in the linked spring document, but this didn't work. I ended up deleting the upper, lower and mid sections from the spring in the assembly. That worked. It also fixed the flattened BOM from displaying the unwanted construction parts.
