I want to bend a flat part for a assembly mounting illustration

Hi there, maybe someone can easily tell me how to bend this part, f.example. on a curved surface.

If you could get Sheet Metal Plus to recognize that plate as sheet metal then Sheet Metal Fold could likely bend it along a sketch line.
