Is there a Knurling featurescript available? (like Thread Creator)

Hello All,
I am looking for a featurescript which creates knurling on my parts. I am looking for something that takes a cylindrical face and cuts the pattern into the solid body. Normally, I would use cosmetic knurl, but this will be 3D printed so I need geometry to be modified.
I am specifically looking to make a checkered knurl pattern per ISO 13444:2012. If a featurescript is not available then I will gladly accept modeling tips on how to model this correctly.
I already know of the cosmetic knurl featurescript which works great and helps performance in models where knurling impacts performance.

Thank you,

Yes, the cosmetic knurl featurescript is from me. But I don't have a script to actual 3D modell it.
@michael_mcclain
If you want to 3D modell you have to sweep the profile along a helix and create a new body. Create a cylindrical pattern and substract it from the main body.

I decided to use a projected curve vs a helix to control the angle of the knurl as specified in the ISO standard. How can I get the pattern qty correct to get sharp points on the knurl face?
I welcome any advice or tips on how to model this better.
Thanks, Michael
I created a small pyramid and made a few patterns. It is not an exact solution, but the regeneration time is reduced from 56sec to 2.5sec
Just be aware that knurling makes studio regen times very slow. That small part has a regen time of almost 20sec! I would recommend using this cosmetic knurl featurescript
