I cant get the circular pattern to generate a a pattern of an extrusion.

If Extrude 3 is extruded as a 'new' part instead of an 'added' feature, then the 'part' circular pattern will complete the function. No idea exactly why.

Thanks Larry, I tried that and it doesn't

It seems to work in the posted doc above but I know there's nuances I'm probably missing. I think it has to do with extrude 3 and its relationship with the vertex from sketch 1.

Have you tried "Apply per instance"?
