LIST OF DRAWINGS

In the project I currently work we have to make a list of drawings (Excel). Is there a way to get this from OnShape, like exporting all document names with a specific tag to a file ?

You can run a search of just drawings from the main Onshape page. Ideally you would have some piece of metadata as well to identify different projects or product lines and from there you can see your list. In a single document, you can also use the tab manager to filter just drawing tabs.

I am coming back to this now, two years later. We have 140 drawings that we will be sent to our customer as pdf files.
This is a requirement we cannot get around. 
We have an Excel file where we have lots of columns of data related to the drawings. Many of these data exists in Onshape, but to our dissatisfaction we have to type it into Excel manually, which is very error prone.

You would have to use the Onshape API to retrieve that data in an exported list.

What data do you need? We do the same thing, but use the BOM and copy paste in one go

A list of drawings would be extremely useful especially when the engineers call up and reference a drawing number it can take a while to find the correct drawing.
