How can I add new parts into the parts window.

In the parts windows (I mean the windows under the 'Features" windows on the left) there is only one part which I have been drawing.
How can I add more than one part into this area?
I am trying to desing a new thing which consists of several parts and I want to see all part in this windows. Is this a good way?

Example. Extrude, loft, revolve, thicken, sheetmetal ect. Will add parts (If the feature is in 'solid' mode)
Those will add surfaces if the features are in 'surface' mode. Etc.
