Split surfaces won't separate in the feature tree

Is there any way to make a boolean with two faces in onshape
I have a sweep along a split edge it is ok
I can thicken the red face and the blue surface and make boolean but the joint is not nice
I have this problem making a corona face mask

It is confusing here, but Part means "Part or Surface" in this dialog
