Trouble Compound Angling a Part

Hello,
I am currently trying to make a three-dimensional star and am having trouble angling the part I made. The part I made in the part studio is flat and when I try to angle it to assemble the pieces together, the parts do not line up properly. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can get the parts to line up so I can attach them in assembly? I included an image of the part I made and what the star should look like when I finish. Thank you for your help.
