assembly of 2 i beams cut at 45 degrees to form a right angle

Can someone assist me to assemble 2 I-beams joined by 2 ends cut in 45 degrees? I can seem to find the best mate for the joint. I am trying to simulate a weld joint.

Hi @peter_mosehane - first of all, did you use the Beams custom feature? If not, you can find that under the "add custom features" button, top right. To assemble your parts, use a Fastened mate along an edge or face where they touch and use the "quadrant" button to rotate to the correct angle.
