Using an offset plane for a sketch

Hello,

I was wondering if this is possible.  Let say I have a sketch on a plane.  I want to project the same sketch on a plane 15 mm directly below the sketch.  Is this possible?  This is just a sketch and not a face.  I understand I can use "Move Face" to move a surface..  I appreciate the help.

Start a new sketch on the plane and use the "use" command.

@allen_keshishian , It is possible to project previously made sketch on offset plane with the help of use command as shown below image.

Another option is to rollback your feature tree to before you made the sketch, create the offset plane, and then roll forward past the sketch. Then, edit the sketch, and change the plane to the offset plane. If you don't actually need to keep a copy of the sketch on the initial plane, this keeps your feature tree cleaner.

adit, your method is very good ,but I noticed that sometimes if we rechoose a new sketch plane ,the sketch shape will also be changed together, please see the images below,these two sketch planes are parallel, so do not know why.

I think you should submit that model to Onshape - it's disturbing, and strange, that the dimensional delta for the arc endpoints has changed from 5 to 3.

Also I have requested control over the chirality of the sketch plane (ie, which way is "up") - you may wish to consider voting for this, under "Improvement Requests", at "Ability to flip orientation of Planes"
