Share part or drawing with students?

Can I create a part or drawing and then share with students so they have their own copy to work with? Is there an export feature that allows students to then import a version that they can edit?
I want to give them practice properly dimensioning more complicated part drawings without them having to create the parts.

If you share a document with copy enabled they can copy the entire document.Senior Director, Technical Services, EMEAI5
