Assembly not showing latest inserted assembly from another part

paul_mcgivenpaul_mcgiven Member Posts: 13 ✭✭

I have an assembly, image on the left which calls up an sub assembly picture on right, but the part mated in the sub assy is not in the correct position in the main assembly and before everyone says its to do with versions, i have created a new version of the complete sub assembly and when i open the sub assembly it all looks fine.

i deleted the sub assembly , went into the sub assy, got rid of all fixed mates and mated it properly, re inserted it and it seems ok now, thanks for repying.

Did the top level assembly flag the subassembly to be out of date when you versioned the subassembly?

Is the part mated correctly and not using Fix?
