Dimension in Detail View

Is it possible to create a dimension in a Detail View that references geometry outside the boundary of the Detail View. For example, I want to show the radial distance of a feature but the center of the radius is not included in the Detail View.

    As long as you can click on the arc you should be able to add a radius dimension

    I have a similar need. It is common to need to create a dimension, like a diameter dimension in a Detail view where the centerline or both sides of a diametrical surface are not visible. Attached is an image of a couple ways this is represented from CREO
