    Saw the note and just had to try.
    Renaming seams to work OK.

    The SVG update should be announced to the InkScape community as a source of parametric shapes with Arcs.  My wifes Quilting and Embroidery world would love this but they know nothing of constrained geometry.   The ability of an Export -> SVG would be perfect.   Onshape Lite ?
