Can one control the time to automatic logout?

Is there a way to specify how long an inactivity while logged in will automatically require a new login?  It happens too often to my taste, but could not find such a setting in my account/security settings...

No, but it should be about an hour without activity.

If you want to fake activity or prevent an log out on an open tab, you can select a face of any part. that will send a signal to the Onshape server which resets the idle timer.

Sometimes you may see an early log out, even if you are currently working. that is usually summed up as an internet connection issue, or a browser crash.

Thanks, John. I like the highlighted face trick and will try it!  :-)

The system is designed to log you out after 4 hours of inactivity. Open documents will close after 1 hour of inactivity. If you are seeing shorter times than that, please open a support ticket.
